Clouds?
Simply clouds are a visible accumulation of minute droplets of water, ice crystals, or both, suspended in the air. That is true those clouds are giving us happiness by maintaining the hydrological cycle. But here I am going to talk about another cloud That is Cloud Computing.
Cloud Computing means the availability of a pool of computer system resources such as data storage and Computing that we can control remotely. Simply it can be described as a cloud of filled servers and other tools for the higher usage. Present, cloud technologies are everywhere and highly accessible.
We probably use different cloud-based applications every day. All these services are stored in the cloud and exist in some digital space. The best example is Google Drive is which is free cloud storage for personal use which is provided by Google.
There are three main categories of cloud identified as public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud.
Public cloud
Simply a public cloud is a type of computing in which a service provider makes resources available to the public via the internet. All hardware, software and other supporting infrastructure are owned and managed by the cloud provider which is a third-party.
Microsoft Azure is an example of a public cloud. Simply we can access these services and manage your account using a web browser.
Private cloud
A private cloud is one in which the services and infrastructure are maintained on a private network. Private clouds are used by a single business or organisation. physically located in a company own datacenter. But some companies pay third-party service providers to host their private cloud.
Hybrid cloud
Hybrid clouds combine public and private clouds having a technology which allows data and applications to be shared between them. Because of this, more flexible options for the businesses were introduced.
Cloud services
The services which are provided by the cloud are serverless computing, Iaas, PaaS, SaaS.
Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is renting IT infrastructure like servers and virtual machines, storage, networks, operating systems
Serverless computing describes when the cloud provider handles the setup, capacity planning and server management for you and all you need are to focus on the development.
Platform as a service (PaaS) is designed to make it easier for developers to quickly create web or mobile apps, without worrying about setting up or managing the essential infrastructure.
Software as a service (SaaS) is that the cloud providers host and manage the software application and underlying infrastructure and managed.
Uses of cloud computing
Sending emails, watching movies, Edit and store documents, keeping backup store to recover data using cloud service are simple examples of the uses. And also we can access our data at anywhere any time on our fingertips..
So this cloud computing has changed the world and made us happy with many more new sources and ideas…..
